ABOUT US

NICE TO MEET YOU

I live in the Dallas area with the love of my life, Todd, and my two grown sons. My roots are in Florida, but after attending Baylor University and living in the DFW area for years and years, I am more Texan than Floridian.

I graduated from Baylor University and then attended the University of North Carolina to complete a Master’s Degree in Education. Then moved to Dallas, met my man, married, taught 6 years in the public schools, and eventually spent 19 years homeschooling my sons.

I’ve also had the privilege of teaching women’s Bible studies. My passion is to help others understand how the individual stories of the Bible connect together to tell the one story of God’s love for man and His desire to have a relationship with each person. In pursuit of this passion in 2015, I published the book The Connection of Christ from Garden to Cross.

Then in 2022, I had the privilege of graduating from Southwestern Seminary with a degree in Biblical Studies. I’m hungry to know more. I hope you are too!

In 2015, I published the book The Connection of Christ from Garden to Cross. I’ve enjoyed teaching this study numerous times and never tire of God’s amazing story.

MY EDITOR AND SON

Tejay is my oldest son and my invaluable editor on this site. His ability to recognize and convey my message into words is remarkable. I would not be as comfortable sharing my thoughts without his keen insight and talent for writing.

In December of 2018, he graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Arts in History. His passion is learning about the past and seeing how it connects to the present. Presently, he is continuing his education in his other passions, including Informational Technology and management.

I am enjoying the pleasure of working with him. He’s added a great deal of clarity and insight to my writing. It’s been a blessing to study the Bible together and to learn from each other ‘s experiences.
